Item 28404 is Amerex's demonstration version of the FAA-approved 347TS Halotron BrX extinguisher, shipped uncharged at 2.22 lb for display, familiarization and mounting layout work. It is not a functional fire extinguisher and holds no agent. Every visible detail follows the production unit: lightweight aluminum cylinder, anodized aluminum valve and all-metal nozzle sized for one-handed operation, all-metal valve construction including the siphon tube, durable high gloss polyester powder paint and the Model 898TS two-strap aircraft bracket. For reference, a charged 347TS carries 3.75 lb of Halotron BrX with a UL and ULC rating of 5B:C.
