One hand on the extinguisher, one hand free for the aircraft: that is the logic behind the 347TS. Amerex builds it as a nozzle model with a lightweight anodized aluminum valve and an all-metal discharge nozzle, so 3.75 lb of Halotron BrX can be aimed without wrestling a hose. It is UL and ULC rated 5B:C, FAA approved in accordance with DOT/FAA/AR-01/37, compliant with EASA requirements and backwards compatible with many Halon 1211 installations. Nine seconds of discharge reach 10 to 12 feet, and the clean agent leaves no residue, offers maximum visibility during discharge and will not conduct electricity back to the operator. The two-strap aircraft bracket (Model 898TS) is included.
