Tight spaces are the argument for the 349TS. It carries the same 3.75 lb Halotron BrX charge and 5B:C rating as the nozzle-only 347TS, but adds a durable flexible hose unique to the Amerex product that gets the discharge into places a fixed nozzle cannot reach, along with an all-metal discharge nozzle. The extinguisher is FAA approved in accordance with DOT/FAA/AR-01/37, compliant with EASA requirements and backwards compatible with many Halon 1211 installations. Nine seconds of discharge reach 10 to 12 feet from a lightweight aluminum cylinder with an anodized aluminum valve and all-metal valve construction including the siphon tube. The Model 898TS two-strap aircraft bracket is included, and the unit carries a 12-year service life.
