Item 28406 is the uncharged counterpart to Amerex's largest Halotron BrX portable. Supplied empty at 7.38 lb against 19.88 lb filled, it is a demonstration, training and display unit rather than a working fire extinguisher, with no agent inside. The body is the production Model 351 build: a steel cylinder, anodized aluminum valve, hose and nozzle assembly, all-metal valve construction including the siphon tube, large loop stainless steel pull pin and high gloss polyester powder paint. It is useful for showing customers the physical size of a 12.5 lb clean agent unit before installation. Charged Model 351 extinguishers are UL and ULC rated 2A:10B:C and FAA approved in accordance with DOT/FAA/AR-01/37.
