Model 549 carries the same 3.75 lb Halotron BrX charge as its nozzle-only sibling, but routes it through a flexible all-metal hose — the difference that matters when the fire is behind a rack, under a console or inside a machine enclosure. Amerex built the HT Series to bring aerospace clean-agent performance into healthcare, clean manufacturing, data processing centers and museums, settings where a dry chemical discharge contaminates far more than it saves. The agent lifts away on its own, so protected equipment goes back into service rather than into a cleaning bay.
