Heavy duty box type is Amerex's own classification for this bracket, the pattern used when an extinguisher rides on a truck, loader or workboat every day. Part number 28228 is steel, primed and powder coated black, and covers the 5 to 5.25 in. cylinder group that includes the 5 lb 322, the 12.5 lb 351 and 551, the 9 lb B369 and the 10 lb 720 and 722. It meets the UL salt spray requirement of 240 hours at 20 percent salt solution per ASTM B117.
