Amerex C270 1.75 Gallon Water Mist Fire Extinguisher (SS/BK)

Amerex item 27699 is the SS/BK configuration of the 1.75 gallon C270 water mist extinguisher. Like every Amerex water mist unit, it discharges de-ionized water (sold separately) through a misting nozzle, and that fine spray is what does the work: safety from electrical shock, greatly enhanced cooling and soaking action, and far less scattering of burning material. The combination suits Class A hazards and any location where a potential Class C electrical hazard exists, which is how these units end up in hospitals, telecommunication rooms, and clean room manufacturing space.
