The Amerex 16591-P is the red wall-hanger bracket Amerex's Parts Book lists for the B424 5 lb ABC extinguisher and generally for all 5 lb and 5.5 lb aluminum-valve models (Parts Book page 27, PDF p. 29, diagram item 3). The At-A-Glance sheet confirms '888 Wall' as the factory-included bracket for ShopAmerex's current 5 lb ABC and Purple K line -- B402, B500, B424 and B479; the vehicle-bracket (T) versions of those models ship with the 818 bracket instead but use the same 4.25 in. aluminum-valve cylinder. Amerex sells it in a 6-pack (16591-P006). Genuine Amerex parts protect the UL listing and keep the warranty in effect.

The B424 5 lb ABC extinguisher by name, plus 5 lb and 5.5 lb aluminum-valve models generally -- ShopAmerex's B402, B500 and B479 lines, per the At-A-Glance sheet.
Is 888 the bracket these units ship with?
For the base B402, B500, B424 and B479 the At-A-Glance sheet lists '888 Wall' as the included bracket. The T versions ship with the 818 vehicle bracket instead ('888 Wall / 818' in the same column).
Does it fit the B417 or B410T?
No; those are 2.5 lb models, and the At-A-Glance sheet shows them with the 817VM Wall / 817 and 817 brackets, not 888.
Does the chrome version of the B402, B500 or B479 use this bracket?
Amerex does not publish that. The chrome-plated sheet lists a black bracket for B402C, B402TC, B500C, B500TC and B479TC, while 16591-P is described in the Parts Book as a red bracket.
