What is the Amerex 03817?

Amerex 03817 is the 23 cu. ft. Nitrogen Cylinder, charged with cap, listed as item 17 on printed page 18 (PDF page 20) of Amerex Parts Book 27277 Rev D. It supplies the expellant gas for 125/150 lb dry chemical wheeled models 450 (125 lb ABC) and 452 (125 lb Purple K): pulling the "T" handle to open the nitrogen cylinder valve pressurizes the extinguisher. Manual 05605 specifies a gauge reading of approximately 2015 psi at 70°F, a 1700 psi minimum at that temperature, and re-pressurizing to 2015 psi or replacing the cylinder if it reads lower. The shipping cap must be installed whenever the cylinder is transported. It ships charged.
