What is the Amerex 16725?
Amerex 16725 is the hose support, supplied with mounting hardware, that racks the coiled discharge hose on Amerex's 150 lb stored-pressure wheeled Halotron I extinguishers, models B674 and B675. After a discharge, and again after annual maintenance or recharge, the owner's service manual has the technician coil the 50 ft. hose back onto the rack before the unit is moved or returned to service, and monthly inspection checks that the hose is properly coiled. It is item 4 on Parts Book page 25 (PDF page 27). Amerex makes genuine factory parts available to protect the UL listing and keep the warranty in effect; substitute parts void both.
