What is the Amerex 02235?
Amerex 02235 is the nitrogen pressure regulator (Amerex part 02235, item 4) on the 110 cu. ft. wheeled parts page for models 467, 469, 470 and 472; it is the only Parts Book page that lists it. The owner's manual covers it under maintenance of regulated wheeled extinguishers and names the Amerex regulated wheeled models as 467, 468, 469, 470, 471 and 472. NFPA 10 requires regulators on wheeled extinguishers be checked annually against the manufacturer's dead set and minimum flow figures: 225-245 PSI static dead set and 140 PSI flow pressure. The Parts Book notice states Amerex replacement parts must be used to protect the UL listing and keep the warranty in effect.
