Amerex 10904 is the 110 cu. ft. Argon cylinder, charged and supplied with its protective shipping cap, listed as item 13 on page 23 of the Amerex Portable and Wheeled Parts Book, PN 27277 Rev D. It is the expellant supply that pressurizes the Amerex 680R (150 lb Sodium Chloride) and 681R (250 lb Copper) wheeled Class D extinguishers when the operator pulls the “T” handle to open the Argon valve. Amerex charges the cylinder to 2015 psi and expects a gauge reading of about 2015 psi at 70°F, with repressurizing or replacement below 1700 psi, and requires D.O.T. hydrostatic retesting every five years. The shipping cap must be installed whenever a charged cylinder is transported.
