Amerex 10213-P001 is the 3000 PSI pressure gauge (Amerex part 10213-P, item 9) fitted to the nitrogen “T”-handle valve on cylinder-operated wheeled extinguishers. The Parts Book lists it for the 110 cu. ft. models (467, 469, 470, 472), the 23 cu. ft. models (450, 452), the 55 cu. ft. models (491, 493), and the Argon-charged 680R/681R Class D units, Parts Book p.17-23. The owner's manual sets the nominal nitrogen charge at 2015 PSI at 70°F (21°C), with 1700 PSI as the minimum. The Parts Book notice states Amerex replacement parts must be used to protect the UL listing and keep the warranty in effect.

What pressure should the gauge read?
The owner's manual sets a nominal charge of 2015 PSI at 70°F (21°C); below 1700 PSI the cylinder must be re-pressurized to 2015 PSI or replaced.
Does the reading change with temperature?
Yes - the manual's temperature chart gives recommended pressures of 1880 PSI at 35°F, 2015 PSI at 70°F and 2200 PSI at 120°F.
