What is the Amerex 16516?
Amerex 16516 is the Safety Disc, Gasket and Nut Assembly (Amerex part 16516, item 7), listed with the “T”-handle expellant cylinder valve components on the cylinder-operated wheeled parts pages. The Parts Book lists it for the 110 cu. ft. models (467, 469, 470, 472), the 23 cu. ft. models (450, 452), the 55 cu. ft. models (491, 493) and the Argon-charged 680R/681R Class D units, Parts Book p.17-23. It is a different part from the agent cylinder Safety Disc Assembly (03787-P) fitted to the 23 and 55 cu. ft. models. The Parts Book notice states Amerex replacement parts must be used to protect the UL listing and keep the warranty in effect.
